The Agricultural Scientific Collections Trust Act 1983 ensures the preservation of her original works, reflecting their lasting importance. Additionally, her bequest to the National Parks and Wildlife Service (NPWS) and the establishment of the Margaret Senior Wildlife Illustration Award by the University of Newcastle further commemorate her legacy, encouraging future generations to pursue excellence in natural history illustration.
